Eugene Spencer Barker, born June 10, 1929 died April 24, 2017, while visiting daughter in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Eugene was a lifelong resident of White Plains. He was educated in the White Plains school system and served with the US Navy. He was married, Ruby Mae Brown until Ruby’s death. From this union were born Sandra Renee and Eugene Spencer Jr. He found love again later in life and married Trumilla Griffith, also known as Bunchy. They are survived by their daughter Yvonne Ware.
Eugene retired in 1994 after working at General Motors in No. Tarrytown, NY for 38 years. In his early years, Eugene enjoyed working on cars and anything mechanical. Most of all he enjoyed life, family and friends
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sandra Renee and a son, Eugene Spencer, Jr., both of White Plains. In addition he leaves behind sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of and friends.
