Charlie Richardson Sr., 70, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY.

He was born March 19, 1948 to Carrie Lou Harris Richardson and Lorenzo Richardson in Roanoke Rapids, NC. He attended public school in North Carolina. He worked for the City of White Plains until he retired in 2011.

Charlie loved gospel music and playing the guitar and drums. He played the guitar with several gospel groups and was a member of the Holy Light Singers of White Plains.

He joined Trinity United Methodist Church under the pastorship of Rev. Nathaniel T. Grady.

Charlie is survived by his wife Deborah Lewis Richardson of 48 years; daughter Leslie Richardson of Kingsland, GA; son Charlie Richardson Jr. (CJ) of White Plains, NY; mother Carrie Lou Harris Davis and brother James Richardson, both of Jackson, NC; sister, Elder Martha Williams of Schenectady, NY; his brother Willie Richardson predeceased him; granddaughters: Sierra Richardson, Ronesha Singleton, & Kaylynn Patterson; great-grandson Omar Zion Charlie Richardson, and many loving nieces and nephews.
