Andrea Coleman was born August 16, 1944 to Frank and Evelyn Coleman in White Plains, New York.
Andrea received her formal education in White Plains, New York, and graduated from White Plains High School in 1962.
After working secularly for a few years Andrea enrolled in Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1973.
Andrea worked with the Human Resource team at IBM for 25 years, and during that time continued her love for higher learning by enrolling at Mercy College where she received her Master of Science degree in 1994.
After retiring from IBM in 1993, Andrea became one of the lead instructors at Boces of Southern Westchester and was dearly loved by her students.
Andrea loved to read, write, cook and attend plays in NYC. She loved sharing her knowledge with others. We will miss her daily emails that kept us all informed about activities in the community.
Andrea had six siblings: Lionel Coleman, Raleigh, NC (deceased) ; Pamela Tilford, White Plains, NY; Arnold Coleman, Raleigh, NC; Enrique Coleman, Mount Vernon, NY; Faino Coleman, White Plains, NY; Don Diego Coleman, White Plains, NY, along with one Aunt Dorothy Coleman of Greensboro, NC, and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
