In Loving Memory of Beleda P. Mebane
On Friday, June 21st, 2019, Beleda P. Mebane peacefully transitioned into eternal paradise at the White Plains Care Center. She was 99 years old. She is predeceased by her husband, Ernest Eugene Mebane, her son Ernest Mebane Jr., and her life partner Lonnie Oliver.
She is survived by her grandson, Sidney Eugene Swinney and his wife Lisa Swinney of Nanuet NY; 3 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Joann Pivalo of Greenburg, NY and Jodee MacDonald of Stamford CT. A host of other nieces and nephews, close family members and friends live in the surrounding area.
Beleda’s legacy will forever live in the hearts and minds of everyone she met. She will forever be missed.
