Carolyn was a longstanding member of Grace Episcopal Church and also served on the vestry.

Carolyn Rogers, a long time resident of White Plains/Greenburgh, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 15th, 2026. She was born on May 22nd, 1935, in Turkeyfoot, Tennessee. Carolyn was daughter to Marvin and Eunice Petty.

Married in November 1973 to Henry J. Rogers at Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains, NY. Harry passed in 2015.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter Deborah Potter, her son Michael Potter, her Goddaughter Lynn Sabia, 4 grandchildren: Justin, Natasha, Erika, Tyler and two great-grandchildren: Brody and Liliana.

She has one surviving brother: Bruce Petty and was predeceased by one sister; Joan and one brother; Warren.

Carolyn was a registered nurse for over 40 years working for Mt. Vernon Hospital, Phelps Memorial Hospital and then White Plains Visiting Nurses Association.

She was also the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for her Community Services in both nursing and community outreach programs.

Carolyn was a longstanding member of Grace Episcopal Church and also served on the vestry. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Church, October 1st, 2026 at 2pm.

ATTENTION: During the continuing various health concerns, please govern yourself accordingly for the health & safety of all. Thank you so kindly!

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday October 1st, 2026 starting 2:00PM at Grace Episcopal Church, immediately followed by gathering/fellowship. So you may come to the Church to attend, & feel free to wear masks. At the very least you can sign the register book (NOTE: please feel free to bring your own pen -OR- you may bring an address label to paste in register book in lieu of signing). Regardless of if you're able to enter/be seated, or not, please refrain from too much touching/hugging/handshaking, preferably elbow bumping briefly if at all. PLEASE KINDLY RESPECTFULLY follow & abide by the directions of the church personnel at all times. We Thank You in advance for following directions & policies, so as to make all go smoothly the day of the services, to eliminate further burden on the family, and to maintain the health & safety of All. Any questions, or if any clarity is needed, please call ahead to the funeral home and/or church, and/or speak to us from a safe distance if present.
