Clifton Ray Brown Sr. of Mount Vernon, NY passed away peacefully May 14th, 2013 at the White Plains Center for Nursing Care. He was born February 9, 1937 in Rose Hill, NC to James and Blanche Hall Brown. He lived most of his life in White Plains, NY.
Clifton, “Ray” as his friends knew him, was a self-employed fence contractor. Those who knew Ray knew him as a man of integrity that they could always count on for a helping hand. Ray, who played the game of life by his own rules, passed away peacefully in White Plains on Wednesday.
Clifton is survived by his wife Mary, 5 children: Rose, Barbara, Cynthia, Michelle and Clifton Ray Brown, Jr.; his grand-daughters: Autumn, Marie, and Tiara; and a host of nieces, nephews and great -grand children.
