Howard H. Hall, Sr., 85, of Charlotte, NC, passed away August 17, 2014, at Novant Medical Center.
He was born in So. Boston, VA, June 22, 1929, to the late Howard Taft Hall and Emma Chappell Hall. He moved to Westchester County, NY, at the age of 7, residing there for 63 years. He was entrepreneur and President of HHH Auto Body, Inc., Elmsford, NY, retiring in 1993.
He was an active member of St. Francis & St. Martha’s Episcopal Church in White Plains, NY, a U.S. Navy Veteran, President of the Elmsford Civic League, served on the County Housing Board, Cub Scout leader, avid golfer, just to name a few.
Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jessie P. Hall; his sister, Marion Pedrow, White Plains, NY; sons, Howard, Jr. (Vivian) and O. David (Tia); daughter, Vanessa; six grandchildren, Candice, Kimani, Khari, Anika, John, Lance; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. His brother, Lorenzo, sister, Delores, and infant sister, Robertha predeceased him.
