Irene Sloane

Irene Sloane was born in Hanover, Virginia, and departed this life in White Plains, NY. She was a longtime employee of and telephone supervisor at New York Telephone in White Plains, NY. She loved Doo-Wop music. She was a proud, dedicated mother who nurtured her sons into the fine gentlemen they are, who will cherish her memory forever.

Private cremation has already been held, and NO public services are planned at this time. Please still leave condolences now herein on the Memory Wall to express your sorrow, share your memories, and as an expression of sympathy & way to communicate with/offer comfort to the family, that they and others may see, and may be a lasting tribute in her honor.

As cremation has already occurred, NO flowers should be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in her name/memory/honor to the Disabled Veteran's organization listed herein (may be done through donation tab/link here in website at the bottom of this page); or to another disabled veteran's organization or charity of your choice; and/or you may choose to plant a tree in her name/memory/honor as another lasting tribute.
