Jeffley Jeffride Edouard, deeply loved son, brother, fiancé, and friend, transitioned to eternal rest on January 7, 2026. Though our hearts are heavy, we also give thanks for the gift of his life and the love he poured into everyone around him.

Jeff was born on July 9, 1996, at 5:00 p.m. in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. From early on, he carried a quiet strength—determined, big-hearted, and full of passion. He faced life with resilience and a spirit that refused to be defeated. Even in difficult seasons, Jeff continued to love deeply and show up faithfully for the people who mattered most.

Jeffley is survived by his parents, Marie R. Edouard and Jocelyn Edouard; his aunt and second mother, Marie Clode Oberssant-Alexandre; his fiancé, Timaya P. Bolden; and his brothers, Johny (also his godfather), Johnson, Ralph, Corlber, and Stanley Edouard. He is also lovingly remembered by extended family, cherished friends and colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by his presence.

Jeffley attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he studied Accounting. After a medical issue, he had to place his studies on hold and returned home to Elmsford. In time, Jeff redirected his drive and determination into a hands-on career, becoming an automotive technician, something he pursued with pride and an unmistakable “figure-it-out” spirit.

A man of drive and determination, Jeff was always reaching for the next goal. He never felt sorry for himself and never let roadblocks stop him, he simply kept moving forward. He pursued his passions with focus and pride, and if he set his mind to something, it was hard to talk him out of it. Jeff was known for his love of cars, and solving problems with his hands. He had a special kind of grit—he would figure it out, no matter what.

Outside of work, Jeffley found joy in the simple things that made life feel full. He loved cooking and bringing people together around a good meal—so much so that he was affectionately known as “Chef-fley”. Music was also a big part of his world—he enjoyed listening to music, playing the piano, and expressing himself on the bass guitar. Jeff shared his voice in worship as a proud member of the Voice of Gideon Choir at the French Speaking Baptist Church of White Plains. He also loved being out and about—hiking, taking road trips with his friends to Dreamville festivals and concerts, and living for the excitement of travel as an avid cruiser who genuinely enjoyed going on cruises. Whether he was making music, planning the next adventure, or simply hanging out with friends and family, Jeff cherished connection and had a way of making the people around him feel at home.

Jeff’s love extended beyond his work. He loved his family and carried a protective, loyal heart. He loved his fiancé with devotion. And he showed up for many friends and loved ones, often with that familiar smile that brought comfort without needing many words.

Jeff also believed in growth. He didn’t stop dreaming, planning, or building toward a better future. On the day he passed, he intended to go to the Financial Aid Office at Westchester Community College as part of the enrollment process to begin classes and work toward a degree in Cybersecurity—another example of his ambition, curiosity, and determination to keep climbing.

Jeff’s life was marked by perseverance, love, and faith. In remembering him, we hold close what was excellent and praiseworthy about who he was, his courage, his commitment to the people he loved, his refusal to quit, and the legacy of strength he leaves behind.
