Leonard Rene Watson, a lifelong resident of Greenburgh, New York died on Monday, January 27, 2014. He was 59 years old. He was the second of two children born to Mary H. Watson of White Plains and Robert O. Watson of Sandy Hook, Virginia. He attended the public schools of Greenburgh District #7.
During most of his adult life he worked in the construction trades and had several companies serving the needs of the Greenburgh/White Plains residents. Leonard was a “Jack Of All Trades” and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. He will be lovingly remembered by his family for the fun had on trips to the Jersey Shore, drives to visit family in Virginia and holiday gatherings. Leonard was a friend and loved by everyone.
He is survived by his Mother, Mary; four children, Ravon, Kenneth, LeShan and Amber; a brother, Gregory; two grandchildren, Za’Niyah and Hunter; and a special friend Shirleen Major, and many relatives and friends.
His presence in our lives will be truly missed.
