On Tuesday June 24, 2014 MARGARET BEATRICE OPIE of Clinton Maryland formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, New York peacefully transitioned into eternal rest. Wife of the late Fred Opie Jr.; loving mother of Marshall Noel (Margaret "P") & Dr. Frederick (Dr.Tina) Opie. Also survived by two grandchildren Kennedy and Chase Opie, two international adopted children , Dr. James Alpha (Dr.Tuzylene) Allen and Dr. Nolwandle Mbalo; two sisters Luesta Josephine Hankins and Hope Dancy, many other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday June 30, from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am at From The Heart Church Ministries, 4949 Allentown Road, Suitland MD. Graveside services and interment Monday July 7, 11am at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, New York, handled through Lee's Funeral Home, LLC of White Plains, NY.
