Mary Moses

Sister Mary Carey Moses was born November 9, 1924 to the late Mrs. Mary Coleman and George C. Carey in Westmoreland County Virginia. She was one of 3 children.

At an early age, she was baptized at the Potomac Baptist Church.

As an adult, Mary moved to New York and met and married Clinton Moses. They settled in Elmsford, New York, and raised their family. To this union were born June, Michelle, Nicole, Casheika, Edward and William.
Mary and Clinton loved children and became foster parents with Louise Wise services as well as adoptive parents of 36 infants and 17 teenagers.

She joined Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of the Nursery Auxiliary under the pastorate of Rev. Pfeiffer.

On December 2, 2013, Mary Carey Moses left this earthly home to enter into eternal rest at the Schnurmacher Nursing Center in White Plains, New York.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children June, Michelle, Casheika, Edward and William; grandchildren Maryann, Journey, Mia, Ryan, Unique and others; Great Grandchildren Leann and others; Nieces and Nephews Shirley, Baby Sis, Charles, Sherwin and many others. Her husband Clinton, brother Johnny, sister Bernice and one daughter Nicole, predeceased her.
