Longtime White Plains, NY, resident Olivia Gadson died January 16, 2013. Among her survivors are children Robert & Sandra, and sisters Elgenea Hickman and Alzalea Johnson. William, Mrs. Gadson's husband, predeceased her. Daughter of Butler and Alice Bates, Mrs. Gadson was born on January 3, 1929, in Wynnsboro, SC. After migrating north, she eventually settled into a career at Burke Rehabilitation Center. Known for kindness and generosity, the 84-year-old retiree led a dignified life.
