Rodney "Rusty" H. Fowlkes, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 after a long illness. A lifelong Westchester County resident, he was born August 23, 1942 in White Plains, NY to the late James Henry and Annie Fowlkes.
Rodney graduated from White Plains High School, and served in the United States Army. He retired after more than 20 years as an Officer for Westchester County Department of Corrections, Valhalla, NY.
He is survived by his son Michael R. Fowlkes and grandsons Myles & Mekhi Fowlkes-Rodriguez all whom reside in Atlanta, GA. Rodney is also survived by a host of close relatives & friends who will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to either the American Lung Association, or the charity of one's choice, in memory/honor of him.
