Shelley Baity, a longtime resident of Ossining NY, died December 20, 2013, at the age of 72. He was born in Florida to Severta and Shelley Baity who predeceased him. Also predeceasing him were two brothers, Odell and Joe Baity of Florida.
Shelley was a devoted family man, a loyal friend and avid outdoorsman. Shelley had the ability to learn any trade he needed. He built a log home in the Adirondacks, NY by himself, using all the building trades he learned over the years, for himself and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lula Hall Baity; daughter, Severta Fredericks; granddaughter, Ellese Robinson and grandson, Ehryn Robinson; sisters, Janie Henry (Albert), Essie Presha (Ron), Maple Hamilton (Roosevelt), Susan Baity, Aggie Baity, and brother Henry Baity (Lillie), all of Florida; also, sister, Lottie Baity of Ossining, NY and brother, Willie Reed of White Plains, NY; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
