Walter Lester, Jr., 85, affectionately known as "Lump", departed this life February 11, 2013. A longtime White Plains resident, he worked 37 years for the City of White Plains Highway Department, from where he retired as a motor equipment operator.
Viewing/Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 22nd, from 10am-12pm, where family will receive friends and Wake will be starting 11am, immediately followed by Funeral at 12noon, all at Calvary Baptist Church, 188 Orawaupum Street (off Post Road), White Plains, NY 10606. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
