Ms. Jennifer Lee
CFSP & CFSGM, Licensed Funeral Director/Manager
A White Plains native, Ms. Lee is a graduate of White Plains High School. She then matriculated to the University of Virginia, receiving two B.A. Degrees in just four years, and graduating on the Dean's List.
Having a strong sense of community involvement and dedication to family, as well as belief in independently owned business, Jennifer decided to go to mortuary school to be able to carry on the family legacy . She entered the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, Inc., and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After serving a residency and passing the applicable state and national exams, Ms. Lee became, and is now an active New York State licensed funeral director. She is an experienced, third generation licensed funeral director, now practicing/serving as such for over 25 years.
Back in 2009, after a vigorous screening process, Ms. Lee was bestowed the high honor of being appointed to the eleven member New York State Funeral Directing Advisory Board. Additionally, in Jan. 2014 Ms. Lee was honored to have her nomination approved, and became a board member of the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association. With much dedication she went above & beyond and voluntarily earned her CFSP status (Certified Funeral Service Practioner), and most recently even completed coursework for another certification, and graduated in August 2024 with her CFSGM status & designation (Certified Funeral Service General Manager). Locally, Ms. Lee has been appointed to the Historic Preservation Committee by the Mayor of The City of White Plains, along with a couple other committees, and is active in numerous community, religious, and trade organizations, ever involved in and giving back to the community and her profession.

Mrs. JoAnne Lee

JoAnne F. Lee graduated from Peekskill High School with honors, received a registered nurse diploma from the Westchester School of Nursing, graduated cum laude from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, Inc., and received a BS in psychology from Mercy College. She also earned her CFSP status (Certified Funeral Service Professional), from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP).
Active in her church and the community, she served on the Mayor's Youth Board, the White Plains Library Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of Westchester Hospice and Palliative Care. JoAnne is past president of Post Road School PTA, the Fisher Hill Neighborhood Association, and Concerned Black Parents. She also served as secretary for the various funeral director associations when her husband served as the president.
A cancer survivor, JoAnne is an Ambassador for Gilda's Club Westchester. The author of "Three Things to Know Before Making Funeral Arrangements", she has a few booklets left that can be purchased at the funeral home for $10.00 each.
